In 1960, brothers Warren J. and Nelson Gottier put their name on the side of a van and went to work keeping Vernon warm. The trucks have changed — blue tanks now, Bioheat in every one — but the name on the door hasn't, and neither has the way the work gets done.
Three generations of the same family have run this company since. The tagline they chose at the start still holds: “First in Service Since 1960!” It was a promise before it was a slogan — answer the phone, show up, do the job right, and be there again next winter.
